Unlike a regular password, a seed phrase cannot be changed, so it must always be kept secure and accessible to you. Your seed phrase is the key to your wallet and is only stored locally on your device. Upon the creation of the wallet, you’ll be able to back up your seed phrase. Write it down and save it in a place only you have access to since anyone with this seed phrase can recreate the wallet and sign transactions.
For an extra layer of security, you might want to invest in a hardware wallet. It will keep your private keys safely offline. If you ever lose or reset the phone, you’ll be able to download Omni once again and simply import your wallet with the seed phrase to restore your access to the funds.
